Interior design today is for busy people who often have good ideas and a sense of style, but lack the time and experience to develop their home potential. Our one stop solution is ideal for clients who do not have the creative vision or time to travel from one shop to another co-ordinating paints, flooring, fabrics and furniture as well as organising schedules for professional fitters in order to achieve that unique look/image. Traditionally interior designers have concentrated on the living spaces; Habitat can also help you design the kitchen, bathrooms and even outdoor living areas. Every little single detail can be attended to, from selection of suitable artwork and light fittings, down to the tableware and cushions.

Interior design requirements vary greatly; ranging from a simple room scheme to very complex refurbishment i.e. help with soft furnishing and complementary colour scheme, to choosing the right furniture to finish off a room, to designing a complete interior space. We can also help with projects already on the way, assisting architects, managing agents and surveyors with all aspects of interior design and specialist finishes.

Although the concept has been around for decades, the Design/Build project delivery system is still growing. Project owners who wish to delegate single source responsibility for their project should talk to us about our Design/Build program.

Under this program, Habitat selects and hires the design team and coordinates the entire design and construction process, including program development, budgeting, schematic design, design development, contract document preparation, scheduling, construction and commissioning.

Renovating an existing building provides special challenges. Whether updating a structure with the latest materials or technology or restoring a building to it’s original splendour, Habitat NT has the expertise to deliver the best finished product.

In remodelling, the process is as important as the outcome. We realize that remodelling by its very nature is stressful and invasive. We are constantly looking for ways to minimize the stress on our clients during the renovations.
